Fi
I'm on a mission to stay as rationally minded as possible and I can debate decently but I feel like my Fi pops up and wants to throw hands at the worst moments š¤£ and my brain just shuts down. How do I kindly keep my Fi from popping up when I'd rather just talk and be calm? Iām literally dumpster fire when it comes to my Fiā¦ it does comes with all strength in the worst moments. š But honestly, I think coming in good terms with it is the best way. If you accept that your Fi will pop up, you create this little moment to calm yourself down and keep talking. How to create this moment to calm yourself? Hmm, I think you will find your best way but you can: see what triggers it, analyze and go from there; you can try breathing, EFT (tapping), grounding techniques if you like these things. Just give yourself a sec to get back to it.

Your Fi is your secondary cognitive function so everything is going to be seen through an Fi lense at first. But, just take your time to think about things and be realistic and pragmatic to use your tertiary Te instead. Think efficiency. Want to design a house? Don't pick what you think is best, pick the most efficient design. Cute cabinets or ones with a lot of drawers for storage?
