Speaking of someone who's been in that position several times, it teaches you to keep your circles small and close. It helps you weed out those people who really aren't on your side, you just perceive them as being so. I'm sorry you had to go through that, and it never feels great, but it's for the better. Uncomfortability creates change, and growth, if you want to continue to grow, you have to be willing to accept that they will ghost you time and time again. You will definitely find people along the line of your life, who won't ghost you, who will have your back through thick and thin, and can be relied upon no matter what. Those people are few and far between, but they are the most valuable people in this world.
