Question

I understand our brain capacity to forget traumatic memories but why have I forgotten good memories and some even recently.

Probably simply by paying more attention to traumatic events, these connections are stronger and therefore easier to activate and retrieve memory. While we often pay less attention to the good ones, so they are more likely to disappear (not be consolidated) during memory processing by the hippocampus (information is best remembered if repeated).

This happens when you focus too much on bad things and worry about them constantly. You'll start believing that you are bad/nothing good happens to you, so your brain cooperates with your thoughts and hides all the good memories.
Start affirming yourself, do the things that you love. They'll all come back very soon
