Who is your hidden gem favourite musician?

For me it's Bert Jansch, who was a major guitarist in the UK in the 1960s and influenced the likes of Led Zeppelin. Amazing folk musician and one to check out!

Not an individual musician, but The Zombies are often overlooked. Sure, they are known for "Time of the Season", but no one talks about "Odyssey and Oracle", which was an incredible record. I got to see them live about 8 years ago and they sounded almost identical to their 60s album. They were overshadowed by The Beatles and therefor were somewhat thrown to the way side. I recommend that album though if youre into that 60s sound.

Gary Moore, from northern Ireland begin his career in the 60s. Joined skid row then joined thin Lizzy. Began his solo career in the late 70s. Achieved major success in 1979 with "Parisienne walkways" During the '80s he transitioned into hard rock and heavy metal. In 1990 he returned to his roots with "Still got the blues" awesome song. Considered one of the greatest guitarist of all time.

A huge discovery was Mike Cooper who did an amazing folk record called Trout Steal.. and now does a lot avant garde a d Polynesian music.

Maybe Alex Harvey as well.. but I might just be too young to really know him.

Rory Gallagher, he was an exceptional blues and rock guitarist, during the 70's many considered him as one of the best, unfortunately he died at 47 due to liver problems.

Ill check Bert Jansch out, I've actually never heard of him so thanks for the recommendation.
