Nativ mythical or legendary beings?
Hey. Id like to ask yall. Does your country has myths and legends about supernatural creatures and beings? Like Baba Yaga or Wendigo? If so, tell us bout it please! Id love to hear it. My countrys exclusiv i think is Bílá paní. Translates to White lady. Its supposedly a ghost of a lady dressed up all in white midevil clothes, roaming old castles at night. Im sure there are other legends bout ghosts of woman dressed in white around the world, but i suppose its the details that make a being nativ to a country. Correct me if im wrong

In Scandanavian we have Mylingar. I think the legends became common after a famine where a lot on infanticide took place. The tales go that they sing about their mothers crimes against them and chase lone wanderers and jump on their backs. You then have to give them a name and bury them in holy ground. As you get closer to a graveyard they get heavier. If you don't bury them by daylight they go into a rage and kill you.
