Has anyone watched the movie “Her”? Can you imagine falling in love with an A.i you can never physically be with?

I think it's more allegorical, and speaks to our need to connect emotionally, and the tragedy of having that barrier between two parties. Sometimes you love someone you've never seen, and then they move on, doesn't make it less painful. Because part of it was always real.

i have to admit i easily can. isnt that what all these apps and websites prepare us for? isnt kind of that what we r already doing spending all this time talking to each other's avatars?(by avatar i mean our online personnas which doesnt necessarily mean altered bios or infos it just means that the minute you interact through a computer something adittional comes into play which we may or may not notice but doesnt make it carry less of an impact in the way we perceive ourselves and others. your profile could easily be ai generated and i might never know and still carry long conversations with you and end up developping feelings through the power of imagination.now add to that a life relatively deprived of physical interactions or stimuli and the end result is "her"

I can see that because a connection that is emotional is super strong and supported where as physical touch is a whole different level in my personal opinion. 😅
