I just finished reading (listening to) The Devils by Joe Abercrombie. I thought it was excellent! A really fun adventure which had some excellent worldbuilding and cool characters. I do have some minor criticisms. The twist is fairly easy to see coming and it being a large ensemble cast with similar named characters makes it a tiny bit confusing. But it seems like it's going to be a series and so definitely worth a read!

Also this is a spoiler so don't read beyond here if you care.

When the jack o' all trades dies I didn't really care because her character barely gets developed. So much so that I can't remember her name even. The vampire also basically only gets used in very contrived circumstances and although both are entertaining they probably didn't need to be there.

Recently finished reading

I decided to start collecting all the Oz books.. so far I've gotten book 2 and 4 on the way and will probably get the og Wonderful Wizard of Oz and book 3 with my next paycheck.

I think I'm gonna collect the first 14 that Frank baum did and then decide if I wanna go for the full "famous 40" and get the other 26 books as well😶 I'll post more as they come ^0^

So, I recently found a book on Web novel. Its called The Lout/Trash of the Count's Family. Depending on where you you are it will translate into either The Lout of the Count's Family or Trash of the Count's Family. And they have recently turned it into a manwah/manga.
