Current read: Empire of the Damned

The way Kafka shows how our worth is tied to our usefulness is honestly brutal. Looking back at the story, the real tragedy isn't Gregor’s transformation at all. It’s the way his family changes, stripping away their own humanity once he’s no longer 'useful' to them.

Honestly this is a shot in the dark but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing an online book club where maybe we have a group chat and read the same books at the same time and talk about them? If you’re interested let me know! And let me know what genres you’re into because I’m pretty flexible and open to different genres. Just thought it would be a fun idea to make some book loving friends!
