I love my friends for giving me books but I was wondering why I was taking me so long to finish them or I get upset when reading sometime and I figured it out because if I still had access to my library and my friends also gave me books I probably finish them lickety split like oh a new book? It's a new universe a new adventure! 

The most of the time when I'm looking at these very generous gifts all I can think about is this is all I got right now I'm stuck same thing when I go on free audiobook websites. 

All I can think is this is all I got this is all it is and there's a sadness in that to me because books are my freedom for my disability. The very fact that I could have anyone I want within reason is powerful and actually makes me feel like a goddess even though dudes wanting to get with me call me that sort of thing all the time. 

I truly and genuinely miss the library and I'm hoping on this next outing I can renew my card it's all I want I don't even need anything for the holidays or my birthday from my parents I just want a library card. 

I already vowed to myself during a very hard day that if I had the money in means I'd always have books and a dedicated device along with a good pair of headphones and  I promise to myself if I do nothing else for me the entire rest of my own life I will have those things I swear on my soul. Two very important freedoms have been taken away from me my wheelchair and my books and I may not be able to fix my own wheelchair but I damn sure can plan to have all the books I could ever read. 

I never want to be sobbing in my bed looking up at the ceiling begging God that if I have books if I just have something to distract me from all this I'd be fine forever I never want to feel that hopeless and desperate again.

I understand now even though friends have been giving me books why I miss the library because it gave me Independence to choose on my own and it was free.

I'm a natural reader. The smell of a book is just so pleasant. 
I don't read half as much now as I did before, but that's what a career change does to you. 
I can tell I miss it as I get withdrawal symptoms, just like when I miss my dose of caffeine! 

If only being able to do this was viable in life. Maybe as a treat.

I know regrettably I do not have access to a library right now but I still read a lot of mostly manga some books my friends lend me and then I watch YouTube videos. 

My thing with the interest panel is I feel most people like video games I just am not in a financial place right now where I can dedicate significant amounts of money to video games I would love to I just can't. I've been enjoying playing free games on games people gift me when they're feeling charitable but I often don't feel in the mood for games because all the games I really want cost money. 

In contrast I have felt the absence of absence to my library every freaking day I don't think people realize how much I used my local library digital service in my day-to-day life. 

I've had so many men say they like webtoon when I told him how much I like reading and I don't mean to sound like a gatekeeper but I kind of need someone on my level. 

Whether that's amount of consumption or how long you have been consuming something. I finish one book a day through audiobook because I pretty much only listen to metal music and a few different genres on Spotify then I spend most of my day listening to audiobooks. 

I spend my nights most of the time reading reading manga. It's kind of like how I feel about anime. I've been watching anime so long I don't want to give a random person recommendations I don't even know you. Yes I'll post about anyway and stuff I recommend but if we're in a one-on-one conversation I don't want to do that I don't know something about it just makes me uncomfortable. Maybe it's because I've gotten dudes and people who say the strangest thing to me and then say also what anime do you recommend? Like what the hell is happening?? 

I had someone tell me if they read a book 6 months ago and they didn't really like it and then proposition to me for a hookup. What am I supposed to do with that information? 

I don't feel I act like a queen on her throne upon high but I just don't know with how much I am very passionate about books manga anime why someone would approach me like people often do vaguely interested in what I'm passionate about and just want recommendations without me knowing them or use that as an excuse my position me it's to the point on other platforms why I'm like I can't say I like anime or books because I don't want to get propositioned in the worst way possible.

I don't understand people who try to talk to me and the only thing we have in common is anime and video games. When I plan to dedicate most of my life to books.
