Finally writing my own fanfiction again ouo9

Second I ever try to write, first one was abandoned (sorry but it was only 2 chapters). I tried to use Ellipsus instead of google docs but the sync keeps failing so I went back to google. (Yes the art is mine too 🫣 )

Any good sites for beta readers

I'm starting a new fanfiction crossover, and I need someone to beta read the first draft so I can find things to build on or rectify. Does anyone know any sites like this where I can get feedback from other people and learn from it?

Looking For A Soundingboard

Hey y'all, if any of your are Steve Rogers Captain America fans I could use some help getting over my writer's block. It's a reader insert fic, and I'm about 23 chapters in, but I'm currently struggling to connect plot points.

Kudos make me happy

One of my newer fics just reached 200 Kudos and I was kicking my feet giddy about it. I have 1 reader who consistently comments really thoughtful comments on each chapter, too, and it always cheers me up.

Thinking of writing fanfiction

Hi guys, I'm thinking of writing a big crossover fanfiction. Do you have any advice for someone who hasn't done it in a very long time?

Fanfiction Writers/Readers

I don't know if I'm going to embarrass myself here or not, but I write fanfiction. I mostly write scream fanfiction, Stu is my favorite so I have many stories of him. But I also have Randy and Billy. I write for other Fandom like The Walking Drad and I have an ongoing Eddie Munson story as well,… read more

Being a slash fanfiction author is like

When there's no "next chapter" button

Thanks for the stories

The feeling when your favorite Fanfiction author says they are leaving and won't be updating/posting anymore.

Harry potter

I have been in a harry potter spiral where i read the books and watched the movies and then fanfiction... So much fanfiction😂📚📖

Do you like fanfic?

I love writing both fluff and dark fanfiction but finding friends to bounce ideas off of when it comes to dark stuff is hard I enjoy writing both sfw and NSFW So yeah

I want someone to write fanfiction next to and share deep talks as well as comfortable silences with

Preference

Just asking. But which site do you prefer to post your stories? Archive of Our Own (AO3), Fanfiction.net, or some other site?

Been working on the same writing for weeks

I try not to rush myself, because obviously I want it to be good. But the more time that passes, I feel a little more anxious because this chapter is long awaited and it has multiple requests for 😅 but I have to sit back and remind myself sometimes that we are writing for fun, because we ENJOY it.… read more

Fanfiction quality is dropped

I am sorry but not sorry to said it. But, for me it's true. Back when I was 14 to 19, I think fanfic was at its peak. Just search for any fandom with the highest reviews; it's usually some good reading with a solid plot. But now... the highest reviews usually go to fanfiction that has harem,… read more

Mostly aimed at the writers

Do you write NSFW? If so, do you post it on the same account as the "normal" stuff (assuming you write SFW as well)?

What are your favorite ships??

I'm talking about the fandom variety, not the kind that sail on the ocean! xD Recently, I've been into Aaravos/Viren (The Dragon Prince), though I haven't yet found any fics I *truly* love. Aside from that, my ol' standby OTP is, without a doubt, Batman/Joker. I've also gone through periods of… (edited) read more

Would you skip a story by a fav author if it deals with an uncomfortable topic?

Just lookimg for general opinions. I personally skip them cuz I read for entertainment and relaxation and I know that if a decent author I like delves into any of those uncomfotable rabbit-hole like mysogany or racism/ Nazism they're gonna do it in a scarily relatable way that I really dont wanna… (edited) read more
