My IEM portable setup

Visited this hidden audio cafe. Had a wide range of audio gear. From old tube amps, Vinyl records, tapes and more. They have two sides of the store. One of which is the quiet section where the best listening experience is if you're lucky the owner is there.

There are a few reasons why a high-fidelity (hi-fi) sound system may initially sound perfect, but then become "boring" over time:

Someone from the local audio circle begged me to get them since he was leaving for Germany and needed to dispose of his audio gears

I was originally put off by the obscene pricing that includes a 3rd party balanced cables with XLR termination, but he sweetened the deal by proposing I get it in monthlt terms till the tuing was fully paid. Nevsr knew how I was able to pay this off in less than a year.

I’m a low-key audio enthusiast and have several amazing IEMs, but decided to get the AirPods Pro 2 for a flight I’m taking this summer and I gotta say I am amazed at how good these sound compared to other multi-driver earbuds. Plus, the noise cancellation is insane. Yes I got a case with flowers because I like them, and yellow is my favorite color :)

I own a fair few headphones, but my favorite has to be the Koss ESP/950 electrostatic earphones.

FINALLY HERE! Best. Just. BEST.

SOUNDSTAGE wider than your mom (remember when she caused the big bang?). 
BASS, banging, clean and powerful mid bass with proper speed and decay, sub bass still there surprisingly and it's just the right amount, good rumble. 
MID FORWARD, vocals are crisp, properly placed, and as natural as it can be, although unforgiving if the mixing is bad or filtered with autotune or other stuff.
TREBLE, clean, non fatiguing, but managed to capture EVERYTHING that matters.
Works for every genre but shines the best for acoustic stuff.
10/10.
Use amp, you'll need it.

Red Serratus

My flagship pair of cans.

Easy to drive, can be driven by an unpretentious Sony NW-ZX300 DAP

But wow it does sound a lot different when paired to quality electronics like on my Chord HugoTT and HeadAmp GSX Mk2 headphone amp and driven via balanced connections.

These used to be my flagship pair of cans, was an easy listen but need tons of power to sing properly. One of the reasons why I got the Headamp GSX Mk2 amp to begin with

Mr.Speakers (AKA Dan Clark Audio) Ether Flow v.1.1

New toy. FiiO KA13. So two reason why I bought this; one, my ifi Go Blu got bloated battery (my fault, I know, still operational) and two, I got TGXEar Serratus coming in mid January and the bloody thing is 300ohms impedance. I. Need. Juice.

Impression (compared to go blu):
Slightly better separation, more holographic soundstage, slightly narrower and has less height (granted, I use xSpace with go blu, improves soundstage height), HELLA bass, more controlled highs. It has desktop mode, which improves the sound slightly on my timeless, tho just slightly, so I don't know how to describe, makes it louder too (more power drain and more power output).

CHUGS PHONE BATTERY, beware.

Was testing out these nice pair of cans.

Surprisingly it can be driven by a mere Sony ZX300.

Probably I'll wait for someone to sell it pre-owned.

These pair of cans are the ultimate comfort and portable serenity when you are commuting or in a noiay office environment. The active noise cancelling sushes metro manila traffic.

Do not wear while crossing the streets of BGC especially if you are not paying attention to your surroundings. You can get injured by a speeding vehicle who doesnt care about walk/do not walk signs. You have bèen warned.
