Local cinema still exists ! (minions and monsters 🥳😇🥳)🎉🎉

open-air cinema

I watched an open-air movie for the first time. It took place in the evening on a football field, right next to a church. The screen was small, but the real issue was the sound. There weren't many people; we sat on the grass, wrapped in a blanket. I bought a coffee (they only had filter coffee),… read more

The devil wears prada

Did you see The Devil Wears Prada 2? I went to see it yesterday and I liked it, I mean it wasn't a big deal and it felt a bit long but I liked it, it was entertaining, fun, and I liked that it touched on topics like how we now live in a digital world. (edited)

Iron Lung: Yay or Nay? (No spoilers)

Used to be a big Markiplier fan; Grew up with him creating the Warfstache sketches, a Heist with Markiplier and in Space in Markiplier... so I am not surprised that he has directed his own movie. Will happily go and support his project/work as he has had a big influence throughout the years. Im… (edited) read more

Detachment

I just finished "Detachment." It's not your typical sad movie. It's one of those films that leaves you with a strange silence. It talks about lonely people among other people. About lost students, empty adults, people who just want to be truly heard. The absurd thing is that, even though it's from… read more

Twin Peaks rewatch

After the loss of a very intense relationship about 6 weeks ago I desperately needed a new obsession. I noticed that a local arthouse theatre was going to be screening the third season of Twin Peaks three episodes at a time for the next couple months! The pure ecstasy of Dougie Jones enjoying his… read more

Seeing this tonight. Still one of the greatest horror films ever…and in IMAX for the first time. Should be interesting!

Heartthrob: Nicolas Cage

Two things I never thought I would see in the same sentence, in the same thought, at the same time. Spotted on Mubi.

I killed him for money - and a woman - and I didn't get the money and I didn't get the woman. Pretty, isn't it? Fred MacMurray (as Walter Neff) in Double Indemnity (1944). Assurance sur la mort (Double Indemnity), réalisé par Billy Wilder en 1944, est universellement considéré comme un… read more

I remember the times when I started consciously photographing literally everything, looking for stories, a certain storytelling, cataloging photos in the way I imagined. Theoretically, this photo has nothing in it, yet it gives it a certain atmosphere. The atmosphere of a walking journey through… read more
