Although I’m not a bassist and have no idea about notes or theory, I love to try it by ear. I love music, and I love slap bass. This was an own groove I started to try composing something out of but never got finished with. Enjoy! (edited)

If the night could speak, would it whisper secrets or swallow them whole?

A city asleep, yet alive—neon veins pulsing through its quiet body. Shadows stretch where no eyes watch. Somewhere, a forgotten melody lingers in the air, a song no one remembers composing Does the darkness conceal, or does it reveal?

Where I find peace...

I heard my co-worker at the record store sing a new song she wrote, and it inspired me to start composing music that she would fit her vocal style. It's definitely different than her typical sound but I think we compliment each other.

Getting past procrastination

While you're decompressing, someone else is composing. While you're unwinding, someone else is rewinding their life toward a better trajectory. While you're choosing comfort, someone else is choosing courage.
