At Castleton in Derbyshire there's a village with the remains of a Norman period castle. A very steep hill leads up to the ramparts on the north side making an approach difficult. Matlock Bath
On my way home from Matlock in the Derbyshire Dales. It was a pretty good first visit, and seemed to light a spark of adventure in me that i've been searching for 🙂 I'll definitely be trying out more places in the future to keep up the momentum (usually easier said than done for an Introvert)
