Ivana Kupala, a Slavic holiday

I really want to take photos in the style of Ivan Kupala one of these days. On Ivan's Day, it is necessary to follow the traditions and weave wreaths, swim in rivers, organize folk festivals, and build large bonfires. On this day, many people cast lots for their soulmates or go searching for the… read more

I released a new music album!

This is the first song in the album, "Stand in the Break". Carry the Dawn is the sound of standing back up — tender, defiant, human. Ten songs move through indie folk, post-rock, glitch textures, and cinematic synth, each one holding a small flame in the dark. It’s not about perfection; it’s about… read more

Swiping feeling?

Hey! Is it just me or does it feel really weird to swipe on a bunch of people? Kind of a little objectifying? I'm super anti-wokeness so nothing like that, just that it's the first time I'm trying it, anyone else share the feeling of discomfort? And can you get rid of it?

One of my Favorite Quotes

I still haven't finished reading The Hobbit. Thus, I don't know if all of the following quotes are in the book, or if they're only in the films, but they're pretty great: "Look, I know you doubt me, I know you always have. And you're right. I often think of Bag End. I miss my books. And my… read more

The Blood on Satan's Claw (1971)

For those that fancy folk horror like original The Wicker Man . It's about a coven of witches in a small Brittish village, who worship some depraved demon. "Saruman believes that it is only great power that can hold evil in check.

But that is not what I have found. I’ve found it is the small things, everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keeps the darkness at bay , simple acts of kindness and love. Why Bilbo Baggins? Perhaps it is because I am afraid, and he gives me courage.”
