November 7, 1910 #OTD HMCS Rainbow (Pictured) arrived at Esquimault, British Columbia, to begin her service as the second ship of the Royal Canadian Navy, and the only RCN ship to patrol Canada's Pacific coast. The other RCN ship, HMCS Niobe was used in the Atlantic.
