Visiting this museum was one of the main reasons of me wanting to go back to Latvia

There will be more of these photos from Riga's fashion museum coming up. Also, yesterday in a span of about 4 hours managed to visit three cultural locations. A bastillion museum, free art gallery with the self portraits of artists and the art hub of Vilnius - Užupis. But I think I didn't come across the famous laws of that place. I'll have to come back another time and check them out. I'm going to continue to post the photos from my outings in Latvia and then some from my yesterday's outings. @𝐃ꨄ

Better late than never to keep my promise.

Me going to the bastillion was one of the most boring outings of my life, second only to the religious exposition in Trakai.

Give me fashion over military and I'll be happy every time.

Old Age

You are not a convenience store open 24/7 for everyone who feels lonely for one night.
You are a museum.

Not everyone will understand your art.
Some people will walk through you quickly without reading anything deeply.
Some will only come to take pictures.
Some will touch things they were never supposed to touch.

But the right person will slow down.
Will observe details.
Will respect silence.
Will want to understand the story behind every scar, every soft part, every hidden room inside you.

And maybe this is why deep people become tired in modern dating culture.
Because they were built to be admired carefully, not consumed quickly.

My 3rd Museum for Year 2026 - The Space and Time Cube Museum in S Maison near MOA Seaside 💙

My sister and I celebrated her birthday early since working adults rarely can take time off on their exact birthday lol Adulting 101

We had a lot of fun in the Space and Time Cube museum, taking lots of photos and videos.

Something non-negotiable for our social circle is that our company must enjoy photo and video time because we take a LOT of them lol

Other people say 'Oh live in the moment, put your phones down, use your eyes' etc.

But I AM living in the moment! Even coming up with the idea of a pose, the directing, the panning of the camera to the exhibits, all of those are me living in the moment. And ofc, phones are put back in the bag once I am satisfied with the shots lol

In my opinion, one of the most unreliable things in the world are the capacity of people to remember. Our minds are very complex. People can choose to remember the parts of a memory that they want to remember and hold on to. They can omit memories too as if they never happened lol Some people have no recollection of what they ate for dinner two days ago.

So yeah, I make and keep my own receipts. I like to have something to look back on, a solid evidence that I was there, something that can bring the nostalgia of the moment, a glimpse in the past that I can visually see to reminisce - that will also bring back other senses from my memory - the smell, the textures, the feelings. 

Now that is my kind of sentimentality. 💙

I've been in Ottawa for a few months now and still feel like I've barely scratched the surface of what this city has to offer. There are so many museums I haven't visited yet, and I'd love to explore some of the walking trails in and around the city.

I'm also learning photography, so if you're someone who enjoys being in front of the camera, that could be a fun bonus, no pressure though, just a thought!
