Strange Question bc... I'm a dork

Are there any of y'all who use complete words and correct grammar, but then you have one or two exceptions? I almost always write in complete sentences, including punctuation. I use very little text slang. However, I will use 'bc' for because. I think it's a holdout from actually writing that in notes in the 90's. 😂 I'm old.

Dating someone who's first language is different.

Here's the question I'm wonderin'. Is it a bad thing to consider pursuing someone if you can't speak the same language? I know practically speaking it's not the best choice but frankly, I don't mind the challenge. I don't speak much of any other language other than some dirty phrases so I'd have to actually learn. When I go through matches on here, most of them are from out of the country because the "local" option runs out after 5 or so matches most of the time. Never been one to stray from difficulty nor distance but this is something I've wondered. Currently I'm more so looking for friends but I don't know who I'll be with at the end of the day despite all the hope I could have. Anyways, let's hear it. Is the thirst real or am I not the only one who thinks it wouldn't be terrible?
