I wonder if there is any counting in the mind possible without language...

I learned the multiplying table in my native language, Ukrainian, and in Ukrainian it kinda rhymes. 
So in my mind I am counting/multiplying in ukrainian and than translating into another language.

That makes me think about how language and counting can possibly be connected. 

I never thought about this connection before. 
If I wouldn't speak multiple languages, I would probably never come to this thought...

It all probably boils down to the famous language and thought connection

So I decided to learn some Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, and I might do German as well later on. So far I’m already in 17 days in, I’ve learned some things more of Spanish then I usually have, I’m going to continue in through out the days.
