1Learning Japanese pt.1

1Language barriers?
I was just thinking about language barriers and my inability to speak a language but actually to understand it and how funny/strange and even potentially cute it would be to carry on a conversation with a partner speaking another language who understood English when I spoke it. ๐ โค๏ธ

1How impressed are you when someone tries to speak your language?
My mother tongue is considered to be one of the most difficult to learn (green area)... especially our grammar, so we have low expectations of foreigners speaking it but would say we are quite impressed when someone learns to speak it fluently... because, well... why? ๐ Image courtesy: The World... So I talked to guy on here from Brasil and when I heard him speak Portuguese suddenly felt motivated to learn the language cause it sounds lovely. Also been listening to alot of Brazilian Funk and started watching Hilda Furacao so... guess thats a new years resolution
