Mp3 Community

This is the last time I was impressed by the technology that I still miss today

I never got used to MP3 players that invaded the market with its convenience but with a much lower audio quality.

2012 mp3 player

Managed to cut out the old battery and solder in a generic 3.7V replacement. Works great! Makes music feel more fun when out and about :)

For all those who are searching for love or wanting to give love

Send this song to your beloved. Love me with all your heart by Cuando Calienta El Sol. I am not able to share the song here as MP3

Innioasis MP3 Player

I’ve been getting excited recently about potentially going old school by getting an MP3 player and I came across this neat little thing! It looks like an iPod classic, but you can freely put songs/albums that you bought digitally from Amazon or if you have old CDs lying around, you can rip them on… read more

Tablet Music

Today I learned Amazon Fire tablets and all bluetooth tablets make great MP3 players in the car. If your car has bluetooth you can get an SD card, load it with music, sync the tablet to car, put the SD inside the tablet and boom! It plays all the music, and YouTube, and Spotify. I wished I knew… read more

Magic

I like the whole basis of calling hard-coded information "magic" (magic bytes, magic numbers, magic tables, etc.) because it creates a very illegitimate-sounding description of "Perform X by magic" for a very straightforward and understandable task. I was writing file parsing code for a media… read more

Drag and performance

I’m recently getting into drag and performing. I love to dance and getting up on stage with my whole get up and ensemble makes me happy. I absolutely adore to be a clown and make others happy at my expense. I have such a love for the people in my city! I love You SAN ANTONIO tx!!!! Eres mi amor! El… (edited) read more

Question;

What's your childhood comfort song? Like the song you replayed over and over again on your MP3 player and to this day it brings you warmth ??

The most adorable thing I've seen on the internet! 🤍

You are my sunsha, my only sunshaaa 😍🥰😍 Could this be converted into mp3 audio? 😁

Mp3 player

Guys? Help? What's the brand of a good mp3 player because I just broke mine 😅 Looking for new ones since I like listening to music daily 😭

Does anyone still download music?

Well, I’m part of a "senior citizens" movement that still downloads music. Back in the 2010s, when I didn’t have a phone, I used to download songs onto memory cards, plug them into a speaker or MP3 player, and listen. Then Spotify, Deezer, and other platforms came along, and everyone moved on to… (edited) read more

We're all adults here

Sometimes it weirds me out to think that people my age are the adults. That most adults grew up watching Spongebob and Pokémon. They played video games and rode their bikes with their friends around their neighborhoods. They texted their crushes and made AMVs and mp3 playlists. When I try to act… read more

I like reading...but..

What I like doing is obviously buying the book. But I am a workaholic, and I don't have time to sit down and read a book. I listen to audiobooks while I work. I first look up any book I might like on YouTube before I buy it. Sort of a 20 minute trial. If I like it, I buy the book, then I download… (edited) read more

Realllllllly lol ... What's next they are gonna bring back the Mp3 player to save space on your phone ? 🤣

I need that time to heal...

I barely listen to the radio and I keep my mp3 player plugged into my car, so it's basically the same songs on shuffle soothing my soul...🥹 (edited)

do i really need a title for this?

honestly even if we didn’t have phones, i’d still be using anything i could to ignore others (book, comic book, a shampoo bottle, mp3 etc) like bruh i don’t like talking to others unless i know them. or unless i have to talk to them then of course i’ll be nice but that’s about it.

bought a MP3 player.

Old Mp3 Player as music Companion

Found a very old guzmo from the late 2000s hidden in the cabinet. Darn the old mp3 player sounds sooo different compared to today's smartphones.

New listening experience in hi-res musics

Chilling while listening hi-res (flacs files) musics. Guys give it a try its a new music experience compared to listening spotify, youtube or other mp3's format.. If you have no flac files, you can have apple music hi-res settings, tidal, deezer, qobuz... Note: Other people will not be happy… read more

Sountrack

This is my second soundtrack I am currently working on for my game. It's still a work in progress so its not finished and still has to be mixed and mastered but i hope you enjoy. I would be grateful to get some feedback :D (Btw you can't upload mp3 so it's just a blank video)

A Case of the Mondays

What is your go-to Monday morning motivational song? If I'm feeling bitter, it's 'Man and Wife (the Former)' by Desaparecidos. If I'm feeling good, it's 'Better Son or Daughter' by Rilo Kiley. But if I really have a lot of work to get done, the first song on my MP3 player is 'Dog Days Are Over'… read more

You ever used an iPod or an MP3 player ?

It’s a wonderful experience listening to music with an iPod . That’s basically you and your music , no notifications between you two . Now you gonna say I can just use DND mode or turn off my notifications. It’s a tactile feeling of iPod which saps a deference. Let’s you are reading from a physical… read more

What’s One Really Great Song that Many Like that You Personally Do Not Like or You Did Like, but was Overplayed (other than Let it Go from Frozen)?

For me: I Can’t Get No Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones. I liked it back then, but around the time I started college when I had a separate MP3 player that holds only music, almost every time I put it on shuffle, Satisfaction was the 2nd song that kept playing out of the other 100+ songs I had.

Vote for player

Spotify or Apple Music? I’ve been meticulously sorting all my songs in an mp3 player and realized that it’d be worthwhile for me to just get an online music app but can’t decide which one of the twos to go with. Apple Music or Spotify? ❤️= Spotify 👻= Apple Music (edited)

I never knew...

What is the difference between mp3 audio and mp4 audio? (edited)

What is your favourite piece of technology from the 2000-2010 era?

Mine is the MP3 player, before I was rocking a disk player that skipped when you walked!

Does anyone know...

If it's possible to upload short mp3 recordings on boo?

New Metroid game when?

Sitting here playing Metroid dread again after finishing Metroid Prime, wondering when we will get our next prime game or mainline title. Hope to see some positive news this year at Nintendo's section of E3. I also read and heard that MP2 Echoes and MP3 Corruption are not getting a full remake like… (edited) read more

Ai MP3 mixtape CD covers

I have been using bing ai to make a base image, then photoshop it up. Printed on photo paper it really makes the CD seem more personal and less disposable. #ai #aiartist #mixtape #music #driving #drivingmusic #playlist (edited)

Going down memory lane

I decided to pull out my old mp3 player that I've not used since college being on public service course and being a drummer for small time band feels amazing listening to old songs I used to listen to and drum along to with friends.

Who Remembers? Blank Space by Taylor Swift

I know Swift has a ton of music often about relationships/breakups that are even personal to her. I’ve heard them, but Taylor Swift is not one I listen to much or at all. However, for some reason I seem to like this one. Not enough to make me like download it on a MP3 player, but I guess the sound… read more
