Peak Cinima

The Dark Crystal is peak cinema. Fun facts, in the original cut, the Skeksis had their own language, untranslated, and there was no narrator (there's even a special feature, where the original was preserved). Henson came up with the original treatment with his daughter, while they were stuck in a… read more

November

November is a time of change, a time to look within. For all of my fellow November Scorpios, hold fast, our season is almost done. It can be a tumultuous time for us, but a time of self-healing too. I always say that Scorpios can be the absolute worst of people, but also have within them the… read more

The mystics say...

There aren't any right now.

Where my mystics and tarot and Oracle people at? ☺️🙋‍♀️

Don't date mystics. Dont date yoginis.

Hellfire & holy water. Very few men can stand infront of us. If this is how a man can feel in our presence, you cannot even fatham the torment we endure to become like this.

Seeking my other half

How cool would it be To find someone with my own beliefs? Any good mystics out there looking for similar?

Christ

Entered Jesus of Nazareth during the baptism along the Jordan river. Before that moment he was the greatest of all mystics. The best among men. This is why Jesus has been considered both son and Father.

Time

Time has a way of catching up with us, usually in ways we least expect. My mind has been walking the mystics path, learning wisdom of the ages but at the price of my body feeling older than it should

Are there any mystics here?

Spiritual Partner?

Looking for a best friend(s), hopefully leading up to meeting a spiritual-not-religious partner serious about the practices, and dedicated to dabbling into areas like sex magick, kama sutra, tantra. Serious students of philosophy, eastern religion, sufism, kabbalah, gnosticism, hermeticism,… (edited) read more

I feel like I'm the only one in my buddy group that really wants to see Black Panther 2

Honestly, the 2nd trailer sold it for me 100%, i have faith it'll be better than Thor 4, which was ok-ish, like a 6/10. DS2 was a 7/10 cause i just love the mystics of the MCU. Honestly, the best Marvel content for me this year was Moon Knight, but we'll see with BP2.

Baizhu's Story Quest

I just finished Baizhu's Story Quest and it made me realize, how intuitive the Chinese storytelling is. The Chinese culture itself is mostly influenced by the Confucianism, Taoism and somewhat of Buddhism that has been adapted to the Chinese culture. As a Buddhist myself, but from more of an Indian… read more

Mice and Mystics

Worth the effort to add color to the pieces

God and goddesses, men and women, priests and nuns. What is the sociological aspect of God?

In many polytheistic traditions, gods and goddesses walked among humans, fell in love, had families, and shared in human joys and sorrows, with female deities holding equal power and authority to their male counterparts. Devotion in these cultures often celebrated passion, intimacy, and the… read more

Coming Eclipse

On monday there'll be mystics, witches, shamans, etc. going postal over this event. With the state of the world as it is, isn't it time to discuss instead of argue? We've been part of an era of post-conversation/post-real-talk...it feels like most people only respond to memes or through proxy… read more
