Looking for dates and new friends

I've noticed that local students often don't interact much with international students unless it's for group work. Has anyone else experienced this? Why do you think this happens? I'd love to hear your thoughts and any advice on how to bridge this gap.

I haven't posted a new post for a week cuz I've been sick since returning from the ski trip. Here's a new update! I spent the last weekend in Chirstchurch. Got to this hut called Scott Hut on the Godley Head trail.

I was never a fan of hiking. But now it has been my 2nd time. 1st time wasn't too bad. But yesterday I hiked during my recovery from an asthma attack due to the cold weather - almost dieded, took a lot of puffs from the inhaler 🤣 But surprisingly alhamdulillah today my asthma cleared. Due to pushing my limit or the puffs work? Will never know.

I'll be leaving this beautiful house tomorrow because the house owners family's moved back from New Calendonia and they'll need another from for their daughter's arrival in October. I won't be able to see this beautiful ocean view again. I'll miss it so much.
