Picked up the Capita Ultrafear with Union Ultra bindings on sale

$90 all day lift tickets are crazy cheap! Went from 0 snowboard experience to being able to skid turn in just 2 days!

It was raining hard in Vancouver, and snowing heavy up in the mountains! Best day to finish off the season until the next one ✌️ Some poor soul didn't make it up the mountain, and I saw people power sliding everywhere. This Cybertruck made it up there fine tho lol

We went through 4 days without any injuries, and on the fifth day - first thing in the morning we both (in two different places, but at the same hour!) fell, and each broke one arm. 
My father is 60 this year, and about the plans for skiing next year, he said he wants snow more.

But little did I know, I would be crying a few hours later🤣As a new snowboarder, I almost died a few times in Alps, cause those slopes were way too difficult for me😅 Next season only bunny slopes for two weeks before any real mountains😭

How many seasons does it take to go blue runs confidently? Your favourite mountain near Vancouver?

Cold is bane of my existence, but in a week, I'll be at a ski resort. I've been curious about snowboarding for a while, but honestly, I'm clueless about where to even start... 
Do you have any tips on what to wear or brands to go for, when to take lessons, and just how to make the most of the experience?
Any advice is appreciated—tips and tricks are more than welcome!
