Got my first smart telescope and used it twice, recently learned that local state park was dark enough for it to leak into the cosmos.

Long night companion......

I always ask myself, "Why are you so infatuated with the moon?" And the only reason that I can come up with is because it brings back memories of when me and you used to walk along the town streets and talk for hours. How we would get lost in conversation. Reminding me of the way the moonlight glimmered off of your eyes. The way you shined just as bright as the stars residing in the night sky. The feeling of being complete. Lost in time, but living in the moment. Maybe because when I gaze upon the moon, it feels like the connection that I once held never broke. As if I were still walking along them town streets.

Tried to catch up with Perseids meteors shower.  It was awesome

Hopefully i would be able to get a decent cam soon so i could share better pictures
