Me: no

Getting my grim reaper tattoo done today and the tattoo artist said “usually people who get grim reaper tattoos are metal heads who have had a life-death experience”.

Finally got my sketch idea as a tattoo. Lilly at the twisted anchor made my drawing awesome.

Here’s the story:

The skull represents death, the doctors were sitting my family down a couple times to say I was going to be dead last year. The manifesting smoky sprite into the wolf represents me coming back to life and resurrecting kind of thing. The black stream of years poking around the skull is the pain being released from a past life and current struggles and bad thoughts and habits poking around the skull.

I just booked an appointment for my second tattoo. Was talking to the artist and it turns out it’ll be a half sleeve one, which I am ok with. Anxiety part comes from….well, my husband would always say that I have the softest and smoothest skin he has ever touched out of all the women he has been with. And now, to have it inked.
