Bengali & their obsession with saree💌

In US and UK movies and shows I see an incredible amount of mentions to marriage and people who apparently grow up thinking about marriage. This is regardless of the topic and the general tone of the show, background of the characters, and still holds in independent movies, etc. It appears to be ubiquitous.
When I was to London and Ireland I was surprised to see how many marriage-related professions there were in advertisements in the cities I visited. It's like an industry.
I work remotely and I have colleagues from around the world, and marriage appears again to be more present in the narrative of people from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, and other English-speaking countries.
What are your thoughts? Have you noticed a difference with other cultures?

This is my Sgian-Dubh - or 'Black knife'. These are worn as part of traditional Scottish highland dress.

Swords and the like were always discarded at the door when engaging in celebrations or being welcomed into a home as a guest. But the world was a.dangetous place and a Scot should always be armed.

The compromise was the black knife. Worn on the side of a man's dominant hand, the blade is tucked into the top of your sock with the handle out and visible. The blade shouldn't be concealed, despite the name, but is displayed to show you're still able to fight should other guests decide to break with the strict rules and traditions of highland hospitality.

This one is purely ceremonial for an international wedding, but I also have a true one.

This one is engraved with the motto of my family - 'Vér Viet Leiðrinn'. Old Norse for 'We know the way'.

from that elevated viewpoint you are detatched from the Earth and material things.
The eagle is also attributed with remarkable vision. It can see clearly over great distances and identify small creature and objects from a long way off. So the eagle is associated with far-sightedness and the ability to look ahead. From an elevated viewpoint you are able to see more clearly where things on Earth fitted together.

Since the eagle is able to look directly into the Sun without being blinded by its intensity, this ability indicates  the attribution of illumination, which comes to the mind through spiritual vision or the ability to see into the essence or spirit of things

The eagle is a bird that flies higher than any other, so the Indian consider it to be 'closer to the sky'.
 To the Indian, the sky was and is synonymous with spiritual things like :
principles.
