Anime Reccomendations Based on Meyer Briggs

I like all of these animes in varying degrees, some even more than I listed for my own type, so don't take it so seriously. I sometimes listed stronger reccomendations first and sometimes didn't (for types that have multiple contenders). Some recommendations feel like a stretch and some are for… read more

Any anime recommendation? Same vibes with ORB, VINLAND SAGA or DARWIN'S GAME? Akame ga Kill or The Promised Neverland. Thanks.

NEW: MAPPA, the anime studio known for Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Vinland Saga, etc. says that it's entering into a new Partnership with Netflix. In their joint comment they say they are looking forward to having "a new global perspective."

The State of Anime 2026 Address: There is a battle within anime right now and there are two camps of thoughts. 1) There are the Japanese purist artists who believe that Anime should be Japanese stories, written by and for Japanese people, and from a Japanese perspective. 2) There are studio… read more

In a land, far far to the west there lies a continent, free from the reach of the flames of war. May one day we reach this fertile land. (edited)

Vinland Saga

The emotions, the struggles, the growth… you end up seeing parts of yourself in characters. And somehow, it stays with you forever.

Thoughts on Vinland Saga

Season 1 is pure vengenance and season 2 is avoiding revenge because you want peace in your life. What else do you think guys? (edited)

Forgiveness

Vinland Saga taught me that forgiveness isn't about the other person, it's about freeing yourself from the weight. Have you ever let go of someone who hurt you, just to find your own peace? 🤔

Orb: On the Movements of the Earth

Was given a suggestion to watch after finishing Vinland Saga...and goddamn what a stellar job showcasing a misinformation war. Way to many parallels to modern times if you're looking for escapism...but honestly you'd be doing yourself a disservice missing out on that killer title track.
