Why is it so hard to meet new people?

I am a recently single Dad of four and I was just wondering why it's so difficult to meet women of the same age as me. They all seem to be 5 years younger ir 5years older. (It's just enough of a gap for it to feel like it's a different generation. With different vibes.) I cannot for the life of me find a 38 year old woman who wants to date. (已编辑)
