I think the general reception for the series is high among fans but it just regularly goes a few steps out of its way to be gross or show things that are deeply disturbing and not in a way what I consider necessary to advance or better the overall feeling or final product Call me too Vanilla for it I suppose. There are just a multitude of less cruel things to depict or saddle your mc with that can still do a fine job of adding gravitas to the story : I Troll Cave or Eclipse discussion is going to be something I'm universally and forever thankful will never be in my inbox.
