Edit: oops I just realised you specifically asked for Heavy Metal Vocalists, I hope you don't mind me commenting then 😂 I don't specifically do screams, but I am learning to do voice work, which might mean my tips aren't so valid, but some stuff that I learned with trying to get more volume is 1. Make sure to warm up your voice a bit and have the throat be loose, since the louder you go, the more the sound comes from your throat 2. Open your mouth a lot to let the sound come out a lot more 3. Committ to the volume, if you are hesitant about the sound or the volume, you're probably gonna subconsciously go softer (مُعدّل)
