Relationships have conditions. Love doesn't care one way or the other. Love doesn't even need to be returned. It's a very selfish emotion.

Depends on which type of love you're talking of. The chemicals in your brain that make you "feel" love. Or the mental choice to love someone despite their flaws. I believe love is a choice. I can still love someone despite the emotions I feel in any given circumstance, can it be difficult at times, sure but that is what makes the choice of living someone worth it in the end.

No. Love isn't and shouldnt be unconditional. In many cases it endures more than it should. Nothing clings to hope as much as love, however certain circumstances can make it hollow or potentially disfigure it into resentment or hate.

Depends on the person. Even though I am divorced I want her to be the happiest most best version of herself. And I am sorry I got in the way of that. She emotionally manipulated me constantly but that's just because that's how she grew up and needs help to not do those things and even though everything hurt an awful lot.
