What types of fruits grow in different environments

I'm really not sure what types of fruits grow in different areas around t the world. I know that in northeastern Alabama, a wide variety grow well here I myself have grown everything from watermelons to kiwi. Ive great luck with raspberries, kiwi, grapes, and strawberries.
