Reggie Miller is a retired professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 18 seasons. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest shooters in NBA history and is best known for his time with the Indiana Pacers. Born in Riverside, California in 1965, Miller attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he played college basketball for four years. After a successful college career, Miller was selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 11th overall pick in the 1987 NBA Draft. He quickly established himself as one of the best three-point shooters in the league, leading the NBA in three-point attempts and makes during the 1989-1990 season. Miller continued to excel over the years, earning five All-Star selections, three All-NBA Third Team honors, and leading the Pacers to the NBA Finals in 2000. Miller retired from the NBA in 2005, finishing his career with impressive statistics: 25,279 total points, 2,560 three-pointers made, and a 39.5% three-point field goal percentage. He also holds the record for the most threes made in a single playoff game with 8, a feat he achieved twice. Today, Miller works as a sports analyst for TNT and is often considered one of the greatest players to never win an NBA championship.
