Grant Hill is a retired professional basketball player who played in the United States for almost 20 years. He was born on October 5, 1972, in Dallas, Texas, and attended Duke University, where he played college basketball. During his years as a college athlete, he averaged 17 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. Hill played for Duke for four years before being drafted into the NBA. Hill was also a member of the 1996 United States men's basketball team that won a gold medal at the Olympics.
