Max Starks, an American former professional football player, is known for his stellar career in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on January 10, 1982, in Orlando, Florida. Starks attended Lake Highland Preparatory School, where he established himself as a standout athlete in both football and basketball. This led him to receive numerous college scholarship offers, ultimately accepting a football scholarship to the University of Florida.

During his time at the University of Florida, Starks showcased his immense talent and became an integral part of the Gators' offensive line. He played in 38 games during his college career and was recognized for his exceptional skills, earning All-SEC First Team honors in 2003. Starks was instrumental in the team's successes, including a victory in the 2003 Outback Bowl.

After his collegiate career, Starks declared for the 2004 NFL Draft, where he was selected in the third round (75th overall) by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
