Why is it that we live between technology and a man-made world, but still find peace staying between nature. Our mind and body knows what it wants. Peace is the end and final compulsory requirement of a human. We are born through the forces of environment and will die when these forces take a turn. (edited)

It’s bizarre to think how rapidly the human way of life has changed

People have existed for 20,000+ years in the exact same form/body/mind as modern humans. We lived in nature, as just another part of the natural world. This is what our bodies and minds evolved in, and existed in for thousands of generations. We seperated ourselves from nature when we started removing ourself from our place in the environment, and started shaping the environment to our desires. Agriculture created the pastoral people, shepherding beasts and taming the natural world. Instead of foraging for the fruits that nature provides, we bent nature to our will. We became so comfortable living on top of the natural world in lavish castles and sprawling trade networks, that we figured out how the natural world works. Scientific inquiry and new discoveries allowed us to understand the laws that once invisibly governed us. With this new knowledge and capability, mankind set to exploit the natural world for all it’s worth in the industrial revolution. If the agricultural revolution seperated us from nature, the industrial revolution was us reconquering the world we had left behind. This exploitation of the natural world fuelled immense development, and now we witness new revolutions every generation. The capital revolution of the 60s, wherein money was unhooked from any material value (the gold standard) and global trade fuelled the demolition of industry in favour of capital. We have already witnessed the revolution that the internet brought to our earth, and soon we will witness the AI revolution. Who knows what consequences our seperation from the natural world will have, when the very last humans look back on our history. I for one think the early humans, living in a natural world, where we were moulded— would have lived truly extraordinary lives. (edited)
