Milovala ho. Ano, chtěla být jím. Plně v něm rozpustit svoje bytí. Dělat všechno, co dělal on, oblékat se tak, jednat tak i myslet. Aniž by tušila, že latentně v ní jeho kvality byly již dávno přítomny. On je pouze probudil, vynesl na světlo a dovolil jim zazářit. Jako by byl jejím stínem. Stínový archetyp. Něco, co bylo potřeba integrovat. Učinit vědomým, přítomným. Nechtěla být nadále hodným dítětem. Nesnesla to pomyšlení. Bylo na čase začít vznášet provokativní myšlenky. Přestat dělat to, co se očekává, a začít dělat to, po čem její duše celou tu dobu toužila. Konečně přestat být v tenzi, v tom neustálém napětí, s pocitem, že žije cizí život. A ne ten svůj.

There are three types of people in your life: 1. Those who dislike you no matter what you do. 2. Those who hate you no matter what you do. 3. Those who are indifferent to you no matter what you do.

I met a girl recently and she told me,

“I want a mature partner.”

So I smiled and asked her,
“What is maturity to you?”

She said,
“A mature person is calm, doesn’t argue, talks nicely, and understands feelings.”

I said,
“That’s not maturity… that’s personality.”

She looked at me confused.

So I told her:

“Maturity is when a person can take responsibility.”

Responsibility for their actions.
For their mistakes.
For the promises they make.
For the work they were supposed to do but didn’t.

Because a child avoids responsibility.
A mature person accepts it, even when it’s uncomfortable.

Anyone can act nice when life is easy.
But maturity shows when things go wrong.

When someone says:
“Yes, I messed up.”
“Yes, I’ll fix it.”
“Yes, this is on me.”

That’s maturity.

Not age.
Not soft words.
Not fake calmness.

Just accountability.

And honestly… after that conversation, she went silent for a few seconds.
