The Last Voyage of the Demeter

Stuck on a boat with a vampire. It's a great premise - fleshing out a part of Stoker's Dracula story that most movies have glossed over. Were there time or budget reasons for making Dracula CG, or was it simply the director's choice? In any case it was a terrible decision. He looks fake, and an audience isn't scared by fake looking monsters. Contrasting that to the excellent set design and costumes just makes him appear even worse. It looks like they're really aboard a turn of the 20th century frigate. There are some jump scares and moments of suspense, but this was a wasted opportunity. I rate it 527 out of 1000.
