What's the difference between fate and destiny?

I know these terms have been often used interchangeably, but is there a difference for you? If so, explain the difference. Would just like to hear other people's thoughts on this.

destiny is predetermined but can be actively shaped and altered by humans.

I feel like both are forced on you, but fate you don't do anything to get, and destiny you 
must do something to get. You must do it because it is your destiny.
