Rate the Film: 2007’s TMNT

Where would you rate TMNT? Feel free to express your thoughts and opinions in the comments. For me: ⭐️⭐️. I used to be a TMNT fan when I was younger. Nowadays I like them ok, but haven’t really caught up other than Batman vs TMNT. As for the 2007 film I’ve stayed away from it because reviews and animation. I have seen a comedic review on YouTube and eventually I gave it a chance with a physical copy from a video store that went under. My thoughts, it’s ok. Animation wise it’s fine, though it looks more like I’m watching a video game with video game graphics. Turtles, April, and Casey are also fine. Unfortunately it’s story/plot is kind of the problem for me. It establishes that Shredder is defeated and yet for some reason the turtles have stopped fighting crime (kind of) for some reason that they’ve gone their separate ways (kind of) because of Leonardo? Also the Foot Clan aren’t the biggest threat this time and is run by a new leader name Kurai? don’t know. Suffice to say this feels like a film that was suppose to be like some finale to a recent show that had ended rather than just starting fresh. For some reason it also seems like reboot near the end. I don’t know, but story could use work or more scenes as it feels unfocused and confusing In regards to its plot it’s just weird. Granted TMNT have gone up against weird things before, but even this feels a bit out left field for them. I don’t know, but overall plot didn’t really do for me that much. I say if your still a huge fan of TMNT then you might like this fine.
