There are so many excellent animations that exist. But a select few are amazing.

One of those select few was a crazy animation called Happy Tree Friends. Literally the most adorable forest creatures, as they even have hearts for noses. Their names are cute too: Lumpy the Moose, Cuddles the Rabbit, Toothy the Beaver, Flaky the Porcupine (who had dandruff), Giggles the Bear, Petunia the Skunk & Nutty the Squirrel. And there are so many more. It is all cute and fun for the first minute or so, and then all characters get killed in really messed up ways. They aren't just killed. The creators were using their imagination in coming up with insanely brutal ways for these characters to die. Like so crazy that you could almost feel the pain in certain instances. My two favorite characters were Flippy - A green Bear with major PTSD. (Like Anything that sounded like gun fire he would become the Predator and kill everyone.) And my other favorite was Russell - an anthropomorphic aquamarine sea otter with 2 peg legs. Who said Yaaaarrr! It's pretty gruesome in the middle sometimes. But usually hilarious. And the whole thing is like 3 minutes long. Plus there is wholesome message at the end. At the theme song... catchy doesn't fit. You'll know it after one episode.
