On This Day in History - March 3, 1940

March 3, 1940 #OTD World War II: German submarine U-29 laid mines in the Bristol Channel. British steamer Cato (Pictured) hit one of them later on this date, killing 13; 2 survivors were rescued by minesweeper HMS Akita. The ship was carrying 400 tons of general cargo.

I'm not much of a dog person, I have no problems with them. They just don't fit my lifestyle due to me working all the time and never being home.

My brother on the other hand, has... had, two dogs. A German Shepherd (m) and a Japanese Akita (f). Now they have 11 dogs, the original 2 and 9 new additions. My brother jokingly says they are his "Axis" puppies. Anyone want a dog? 😆
