I played many horror games but the atmosphere in this game is chilling it gives the same spine chill as fatal frame for me, that quiet ambient whispers and sounds that really mess with your head....long story short I folded playing the game lol

Low light, high signal.

Fluorescent interrogates, ambient light invites. I see it as scripting a mood well without demanding attention.

Want more immersion?

If you’re reading a period piece, listen to the music of that time. Hits different. Reading a book set on a ship or by the sea? Play ambient ocean sounds. Soundscapes can really add to the experience.
