So [The Goal of All Life Is Death] didn’t actually kill Shalltear. [Cry of the Banshee] did.

[TGOALID] is a level 5 [Eclipse] class skill that modifies an instant death spell, allowing it to completely bypass instant death immunity. The drawback is that it delays the spell’s activation by 12 seconds.

Ainz paired it with [Cry of the Banshee]:

[TGOALID] + [Cry of the Banshee] → bypasses immunity → 12 second delay → death

So Shalltear wasn’t killed by [TGOALID] itself. The skill essentially turned [Cry of the Banshee] into an attack capable of bypassing her immunity.

The 100 hour cooldown is the other major drawback, which makes the ability incredibly powerful but highly situational.
