New movies are....meh

Old movies were more creative, had better stories. Films like Carlito's Way, Trainspotting, and Apocalypse Now exhibited such attributes. Nowadays, film studios waste their budget on sfx and A-list actors, instead of investing in the "soul"of the film (the story). What's your opinion?

So I spent $200+ on my room decorating project. 🥰🤩

I set the budget at $300. (I still have to buy more candles, some low light plants etc). My stuff wont arrive until January (Obviously) but im really excited to get started! **BTW if anyone knows where I can get a medium sized WHITE bulletin board for less than $35 let me know~ 💕

This was the first black-and-white movie I’ve ever watched, and it’s amazing how everything was filmed in one location, with such creativity for its time, despite the low budget 🎥❤️
