I grew up playing traditional card games. All the ones I'm seeing here I've never heard of Does anyone still play cribbage or hearts or canasta?

In any card games, what would be your ideal monster or regular creature that you enjoy using? Growing up it was mostly fiends/ghouls/demons, but nowadays I'm trying to go with insects.
