Finally got an organizer so my eggs don't get mixed up won't hold 3 dozen because I got big eggs but close enough lol

I do have some sweet hens but the roosters always have my heart. I have been lucky to have many sweet loveable boys. If I could have a space to save them all , I would.

Someone missed getting her up last night before my alarm a min ago I get a call about a dead chicken I picked her up her eyes opened she's alive no blood I'm cuddling her in front of a heater I think she got thrashed either by my mom's dog or something else I don't know still moving and breathing just napping in my arms unfortunate update she just died in my arms

I wasn't paying attention yesterday I only get a couple eggs a day so far but I wanted to fry one and was like damn this is a large or extra large I've only gotten small or medium I got suspicious of the shape and I was right double egg!

She disappeared a couple weeks ago found her laying where I found the horde of eggs yesterday she must have been coming in and out for good so now her wings are clipped and I'm full again!

The prodigal chicken has returned!

I've only been getting like a couple eggs a day and I need to clean my coop but I haven't been letting them out for a couple weeks family has but today I did and saw 2 high tail it downhill now I know why and apparently another breed of my chicken lays now lol

So one of my black chickens went yesterday don't know if it jumped the fence or what yet so while walking through the woods coming back to my house looking get back to the road boom red chicken 99% sure it's mine that stalks me lol apparently I need to clip their wings again hopefully the black one comes back though or I just acquired a random red chicken similar to mine

This is Beep (grey/blue) Honk (black & white/silver) and Henrietta (brown & gold).

All easter eggers hatched in august 2024, I love easter eggers cuz you never know how theyre turn out color wise til theyre grown because of all the mixing lol. They have beautiful blue eggs. 

Henrietta is the only one with a beard and cheeks but shes a messy eater and gets crumbs stuck in it so the other girls pull out her fluffs.

My brooding chicken didn't get put up by someone at night idk if it was the English bulldog drug her out and something else ate it because I do have oppossums and raccoons or if it was just one of them but I found her today when I was making sure she got some food lovely
