So Portsmouth Comic Con is this weekend, time for Cosplay crunch time! 

Sanding. And then… more sanding. Truly thrilling.

Every tiny mistake gets patched with wood filler, followed immediately by...you guessed it...more sanding. 

My boyfriend, Darren remains in charge of making this actually look good, while I supervise with great enthusiasm and minimal interference.

Also, my dog joined the operation. She contributed by watching intently and offering emotional support… which, to be fair, puts her about on par with my level of assistance.

Hi. My name is Sierra. I’m 24 (turn 25 in August) and a beginner cosplayer. I don’t cosplay a lot because work takes up too much of my energy. I’m kinda new to the convention scene (I’ve been to 4 so far) but I’m enjoying it a lot. I’m hoping to make some cosplay friends as I don’t really have any (well I have a friend who I introduced to cosplay and is enjoying it) that can help me learn new skills and give me advice on how to improve.
