I did my CFSC over a month ago now, and filed all of the paperwork. I should be getting my PAL soon and I have been looking into fun guns for going to the range and plinking. This little Henry lever action 22. looks like it would be a friggin blast.

I got my workbench set up and I've been posting my work now I have actual gun companies and gun stores following me. I'm north of 500 followers now and I've even gotten a few sponsors now. I never in a million years thought this would happen to me.

My gunsmithing is really taking off

Had a blast hanging out with my younger brother and seeing a buddy of mine from my time in the Corps.

Went to the range yesterday

Rock River Arms RRAGE 223 WYLDE 7" barrel w/ Leupold mark 3 AR ballistic 1.5-4x20mm optic. 
Shooting from sitting position elbow supported only. It's not a perfect zero, but for the stance, barrel length, and distance and purpose of this particular firearm, I'm happy with the zero.

Did a shooting day

Literally almost every other state you can walk in to any gun store at 18 and buy something. Sure, you might have to wait a certain number of days, but that gun is yours regardless. In stupid Connecticut I have to fill out 17 different documents, then pay $160 to get things processed like finger prints and such. Then I have to get approved to get a long gun license. Also you have to take a designated "long gun" class. Well guess what? No one teaches a long gun class that isn't also a pistol permit class. And you have to be 21 to even sign up for a pistol permit class. Then if you can somehow do all of that and get approved, you then have to buy the Long Gun License. This costs another $90 when the pistol permit only costs $70!! I'm so annoyed about all of this. I've been 18 for almost 6 months and should already have my Long Gun License, but there's too many damn hoops to jump through!
