First game to actually get to you?

The first game that ever got me, I was in high school and had a chance to play System Shock 2. I was rocking the dark room, head set with full 3D sound, and the large CRT monitor. The ambiant noise and the groaning from the Many used to get me. What about you all, what game first freaked you out?
